Junior defender Carrie Kirk was named ASC Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts in two shutout wins over Schreiner and Texas Lutheran.  In the victory over the Mountaineers, Kirk led a defense that allowed no shots.  The former Madison Central standout recorded an assist in the 2-0 win over Texas Lutheran on Saturday.
