Senior forward Tyler Winford led the Choctaws to a 2-0 week with wins over Louisiana College and Ozarks.  Winford averaged 19.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 80% in the two wins.  The former Jackson Academy standout recorded a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds in the come-from-behind win at Ozarks.

Winford has led the Choctaws to a 17-5 record on the season and at least a share of the American Southwest Conference East Division championship.  The Madison, MS native is averaging 13.2 points and 5.0 rebounds per game on the season.
