Hunter Mullis struck out a season-high 12 batters as the Choctaws defeated UAH 3-0 in the second game on Saturday afternoon. It marked the first time UAH had been blanked since March 31, 2014. The Columbus, Miss., native allowed just three singles and surrendered four walks in the third shutout for MC this season. The double-digit strikeout performance marks his second of the season as he fanned 10 in a no decision vs. Shorter earlier this season.
