Mississippi Colege Athletics

Luke Govero claimed the decathlon at the University of Montevallo Falcon Classic with 4,808 points. The Clinton, Miss., native won the event by nearly 300 points. The freshman finished tops in three of the seven competitions in the 10-competition event. The final events were cancelled due to weather than shortened the Classic.
 
Mississippi College returns to action on Friday, Mar. 31 as it hosts the Twilight Invitational. Meet time is slated for 1 p.m.
