Johnny Hsu, who was named the GSC Golf Freshman of the Month for the month of February, led the Choctaws to a third-place finish at the Badger Invitational, hosted by Spring Hill College, on Feb. 27-28. The New Taipei City, Taiwan native finishing tied for second overall among individuals at 219 (+3).
After shooting a 76 (+4) in round one, Hsu tallied the lowest individual score of round two, shooting a 70 (-2). He then put together a third round score of 73 (+1) to finish at 219 for the tournament.

The golf team will return to action on Monday, March 6 when they will host a field of eleven schools in their annual Mississippi College Invitational. The two-day event will be held at Lake Caroline Golf Club in Madison, Miss.
