On Saturday against Alabama Huntsville, Samuel Harrison (Headland, Ala.) (2-5) took the loss on the mound in the second game of the series. The freshman pitcher tossed 6.0 innings allowing just five hits with two runs. Harrison struck out two and walked two in the game.

So far this season, Harrison has pitched 66.0 innings, facing 268 batters. Harrison leads the team with 56 strikeouts and has an earned run average of 3.68.

The Choctaws will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Jackson, Miss., to face Belhaven University. First pitch is slated for 6:00 p.m.
