The Lady Choctaws swept Alcorn State in a doubleheader on Wednesday. Qualls (Madison, Miss.) went 1-for-3 in the second game against Alcorn State. She had one double with one run and two RBI's.
On Saturday against Christian Brothers, Qualls lead the doubleheader sweep with three homeruns, posting four RBI's. Qualls went 3-for-3 in the final game of the series on Sunday.
On the week, Qualls had a batting average of .571 with a slugging percentage of 1.285. She went 8-for-14 with one double and three homeruns, with four runs and six RBI’s.
On the season, Qualls leads the team with a batting average of .407. Qualls has had 37 hits with seven doubles and seven homeruns, while scoring 19 runs and posting 25 RBI’s.
The Lady Choctaws will be back in action next weekend when they travel to Carrollton, Ga. to face West Georgia in a three-game series, beginning Friday with a doubleheader at 12:00 p.m. Â
