The Lady Choctaws opened their outdoor track & field season on Saturday with the Mississippi College Season Opener at James E. Parkman Track.

Evu Janice Young (Bremerhaven, Germany) claimed the title in the 400 meter dash with a time of 57.94. Young also finished 10th in the 200 meter dash, posting a time of 26.13.

The Lady Choctaws will be back in action on Friday, March 18th when they travel to Memphis, Tenn. for the two-day Rhodes Invitational.
