The Mississippi College women’s indoor track and field team finished 5th in the NCCAA National Championship at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Kiana Grant (Meridian, Miss), won the national championship in the long jump on Friday with a distance of 18’ 9.25,” while also claiming the crown in the triple jump with a distance of 38’ 5.50”
Grant along with Alex Buchanan (Seminole, Fla.), Anna Grace Govero (Clinton, Miss.), and Bobbi LaBrant (Largo, Fla.) finished seventh in the 4X400M relay with a time of 4:09.26. Grant ran a 1:00.47 in the 400M run to grab an 11th place finish.
