The Mississippi College baseball team went 2-1 in the series against North Greenville on Saturday and Sunday. Sophomore Jake Fraze (Plano, Texas) tossed 7.2 innings in the final game of the series. Fraze picked up his second win of the season striking out six batters and allowing seven hits to clinch a 4-0 win against North Greenville.
On the season, Fraze leads the team with 14.2 innings pitched and ties to lead the team with 11 strikeouts, allowing just two runs so far this season.
The Choctaws will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Magnolia, Ark., to face Southern Arkansas University, set to start at 3:00 p.m.
