Sampson (Jackson, Miss.) recorded 15 points per game against Shorter and Lee. The scoring effort marks the 30th of the career for Sampson. Against Shorter, Sampson went 9-of-9 from the free thrown line with two rebounds and three assists. Against Lee, Sampson went 5-of-9 from the floor, 3-of-4 from the long range and 2-of-2 from the free throw line.
 
On the season, Sampson ranks first on the team with 15.3 points per game, shooting 77% from the free throw line and 48% from the field.
 
Sampson and the Lady Choctaws will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Cleveland to face rival Delta State. The Lady Choctaws are set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
