Senior Tristan Moore (Senatobia, Miss. / Northwest MS CC) averaged 15.5 points, 5.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds to open 2016 against Alabama Huntsville and North Alabama. He scored 18 points, going 8-of-10 from the free throw line against the GSC-leading Chargers. Moore backed that up with 13 points, six assists and five rebounds against the Lions.
On the season, the senior ranks 2nd on the team with 14.4 points per game, leading the team with 46 assists. He is currently MC's all-time leader in assists (4.4 apg) and steals (1.2 spg) per game.
Moore and the Choctaws will hit the road for their longest swing of the season, opening on Saturday (Jan. 9) against Shorter in Rome, Ga.
