Freshman Will Young (Nacogdoches, Texas) led the Mississippi College men’s cross country team to a second place finish at the Choctaw Open 8K with 99 points. Young finished fourth in the meet with a time of 26:08.95 with an average time per mile of 5:24.

The Choctaws will be back in action on Saturday at the Gulf South Conference Championships in the Moundville, Ala. Meet set to begin at 9 a.m.
