Freshman goalkeeper Andrea McDonald has helped lead the MC women's soccer team to a 5-0-1 start with four shutouts in the first six matches. She has posted a 0.32 goals against average with 16 saves in her rookie season.

Last week, McDonald allowed just one goal in 200 minutes of action as the Lady Choctaws picked up a 2-1 win over Ouachita Baptist and a 0-0 draw against Harding. She made five saves on 16 shots faced on the week.

McDonald and the Lady Choctaws will get back into Gulf South Conference action this week when they host Alabama Huntsville on Friday and West Alabama on Sunday, both matches starting at 2:00 p.m.
