Junior Caleb Upton (Natchez, Miss.) went 2-for-5 with one run and one RBI against Belhaven on Wednesday night at Frierson field.
In the first of the three-game series against Shorter, Upton went 2-for-5 with a RBI from a double. In the finale against Shorter on Sunday, Upton went 2-for-3 with two home runs, including a grand slam, posting six RBI and three runs, as the Mississippi College baseball team picked up a 13-8 win over Shorter Univeristy on Sunday afternoon at Frierson Field.
The Choctaws will be back in action on Tuesday when they will host Spring Hill College for a doubleheader at 3:00 p.m.Â
