The Mississippi College men's basketball team had a successful weekend as they picked up their third consecutive victory. 

On Thursday the Choctaws defeated Valdosta State 87-77. Junior Tristan Moore (Senatobia, Miss.) tallied six assists and a season-high of seven steals. Moore finished the game with 10 points. 

In double over time, the Choctaws defeated West Florida 92-88 on Saturday. Moore took things over in the second half and both overtimes, scoring 21 of his career-high 28 points. The Senatobia native went 11-of-26 from the field with a career-high 12 rebounds three steals and three assists. 

The Choctaws will be back in action on Thursday night as they host North Alabama at 8:00 p.m. in A.E. Wood Coliseum.
