Junior Sayit Mejia Bello scored three goals and assisted on another as the MC Women's Soccer team opened the 2014 season with wins over Belhaven and Montevallo.

In the season-opening win over Belhaven, Mejia Bello assisted on the eventual game-winning goal in the opening minute and scored two more to put the match away. In the victory over Montevallo, she scored the equalizing goal in the 18th minute and helped MC come back for a 3-1 win.

The Lady Choctaws will be back in action on Tuesday night when they travel to face LSU-Alexandria at 5:00 p.m. The next home game for MC will be next Tuesday when they host Delta State at 2:00 p.m.
