Junior softball player Elissa Kelly picked up two wins in the circle for the Lady Choctaws and recorded a 0.00 ERA in a series sweep of Howard Payne.

The Hoover, Ala. native struck out five batters and only allowed four hits over 9.0 innings pitched.  Kelly recorded her third shutout of the season in an 8-0 win over the Lady Jackets in the second game of the series.

Kelly and the Lady Choctaws finished the regular season with an overall record of 29-10 and finished third in the American Southwest Conference with a 24-9 record.  MC will host the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Mid-East Regional that will take place on May 7-10 at the MC Softball Complex.
