Senior baseball player  Blake Mcilwain pitched the first no-hitter for the Choctaws since 2009 in a 2-0 victory over Louisiana College.

The Waynesboro, Miss. native struck out seven batters to improve to 5-1 on the season.  On the year, Mcilwain has tallied a 2.91 ERA with 33 striekeouts.

Mcilwain and the Choctaws will host Howard Payne for a three-game series beginning on Thursday with a single-game at 6:00 p.m. followed by a doubleheader on Friday starting at noon at Frierson Field.
