Junior softball player Tori Bankston hit her seocnd home run of the season in a shutout victory over Millsaps, 9-0.

The Watson, La. native helped the Lady Choctaws to a 4-1 week, going 10-for-17 to record a .588 batting average with three doubles and one home run.  In a win over Millsaps and a series sweep of Sul Ross, Bankston tallied seven RBI and four runs scored.

Bankston and the Lady Choctaws will be back in action this weekend as they host Hardin-Simmons for their final home series beginning with a doubleheader on Friday starting at 4:00 p.m. followed by a single-game on Saturday at noon at the MC Softball Complex.  Prior to the game on Saturday, three MC seniors will be honored as the Lady Choctaws celebrate "Senior Day."
