Senior Lakin Ford's last second shot gave the Choctaws a 71-70 comback win over conference opponent East Texas Baptist.
The Cedar Bluff native led MC with 17 points, going 6-of 11 from the floor and 2-of-3 from the three point line against ETBU. He was also 3-of-4 from the free throw line, while tallying six rebounds and three blocked shots.
Earlier in the week, he led the Choctaws with 23 points and 10 rebounds against Concordia. He recorded 12 points against LeTourneau, going 5-of-7 from the floor and 2-of-3 from the three-point line.
Ford and the Choctaws will have the week off before hosting Rhodes College on Saturday, December 14th, at 5:00 p.m. at A.E. Wood Coliseum.
