Senior infielder Rob Thames batted .429 with his first RBI of the year to open the 2013 season in games against Birmingham-Southern.

Thames and the Choctaws will host Berry for a three game series beginning with a single-game on Friday at 4:00 p.m. followed by a doubleheader on Saturday starting at noon.
