Junior men's soccer player Harrison Russell scored three goals to spearhead conference victories over the Ozarks and Texas-Dallas to clinch the number one seed in the American Southwest Conference Tournament.
Russell opened and closed the scoring drive with two goals in a 5-0 win over the Ozarks. He scored the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over UTD to help the Choctaws win the regular season conference title.
For the first time in school history, MC will host the ASC Tournament on November 1-4 at Robert P. Longabaugh Field. The Choctaws earned a first round bye and will play on Friday, November 2nd.
