Wrights, hailing from Mobile, Alabama, showcased his remarkable talent on the track, securing a lifetime best in the Men's 800m with a blistering time of 1:53.39. This outstanding achievement not only placed him in the second position within the GSC for this event but also established him as the top freshman performer in this event in the conference. 
In addition to his remarkable feat in the 800m, Wrights doubled his efforts by anchoring the Men's 4x400m relay team to yet another section win, making two section wins on the day.
