Chauncey Callier led the Choctaws at the plate in the GSC-opening weekend sweep of West Alabama. Callier posted an impressive .545 batting batting average over the weekend, including six hits with four going for extra bases. His two home runs in the first game of the doubleheader helped the squad cement the series against the Tigers. He clubbed a 1.273 slugging percentage over the weekend.

Callier leads the GSC in home runs with four and third in the league in slugging percentage with an .821.

Mississippi College returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 22 as it hosts Quincy (Ill.) University in a three-game series.
