Kate Bass broke the program record for solo blocks in a season over the weekend. She entered the weekend ranked third in solos and combined for three in the five-set match at UAH and at Montevallo. The freshman reset the record that stood since 2007.

Mississippi College returns to action on Friday, Nov. 1 as it hosts Lee University. The match is the first of two inside A.E. Wood Coliseum this weekend as MC also welcomes Shorter University.
