Bueno (Providence, RI) rallied in the third set of her singles match this Saturday against UAH and was victorious by a score of 6-4, 1-6, and 6-3 in the deciding set. Her win tied the team score at 1-1 and gave the Lady Choctaws the momentum they needed to cruise past UAH by a score of 4-1 and remain unbeaten in GSC play.Â
On the year, Bueno has been outstanding for the Lady Choctaws in the #2 singles spot. She is currently unbeaten in singles action on the season with an unblemished 6-0 record. That includes wins over Division I opponent Jackson State, and Regionally ranked Angelo State in the Ouachita Baptist Invitational.Â
Bueno and the Lady Choctaws will be back in action this upcoming Wednesday March 6 as they travel to Livingston, Ala. to face West Alabama in GSC play.Â
