Senior Adrianna Morgan has been named the Mississippi College Renasant Bank Female Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Monday (Feb. 11).

Morgan (Lake Cormorant, Miss.) went 3-0 in three appearances at the Charger Chillout 2.0 in Huntsville, Ala. She came out of the bullpen twice and earned a starting win over #1 Southern Indiana by tossing 4.0 innings.

On the season, Morgan is 3-1 with a 2.88 ERA, allowing opponents to hit .278 with six strikeouts and just three walks over 17.0 innings.

Morgan and the Choctaws will open their home schedule on Wednesday when they host Kentucky State for a doubleheader at 2:00 p.m. at the MC Softball Complex.
