Kendall Platt led the Choctaws with 24 kills in two matches against Alcorn State University and William Carey University. The Anaheim, Calif., native totaled a team-best 14 against the Crusaders along with 10 digs, for her third double-double of the season, before posting 10 kills against the Braves to open the tri-match. The freshman leads the team with 130 kills this season, including a program, match record of 23 at Southern Arkansas earlier this season.
Mississippi College opens Gulf South Conference action on Tuesday, Sept. 11 as it travels to Livingston, Ala., to face the University of West Alabama. Match time is set for 6 p.m.
