Junior Alexia Harmon has been named the Mississippi College Wright & Ferguson Female Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Monday (April 2).

Harmon (Madison, Miss.) helped lift the Lady Choctaws to a three-game sweep of Union by going 6-of-8 (.750) with two home runs, seven RBI and five runs scored. She had two hits and drove in three runs in each of the three games. Her second home run of the weekend was a walk-off shot to lead off the seventh inning of an 8-7 win that saw the Lady Choctaws trail 7-1 in the second inning. She would go on to have the walk-off RBI single in the 8-0 win in five innings on Saturday.

Harmon and the Lady Choctaws will welcome Miles to Clinton on Wednesday for a doubleheader before hosting Christian Brothers for three games this weekend.
