Junior Blaine Crim has been named the Mississippi College Wright & Ferguson Male Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Monday (March 19).
Crim (Mobile, Ala.) helped lead the Choctaws to a 2-1 record on the week, including a come-from-behind win over William Carey and a doubleheader split with West Florida.
In the win over the Crusaders, Crim went 3-for-5 with two runs scored. He then went 3-for-5 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBI against the Argonauts. Overall, he hit .600 (6-for-10) with five runs scored and two RBI. He would post a .900 slugging percentage with a .909 on-base percentage.
Crim and the Choctaws are scheduled to be back in action on Tuesday when they host Henderson State at 2:00 p.m. They will then travel to North Alabama for a three-game series this weekend.
