Mississippi Colege Athletics

Junior Cross Country runner Tino Gonzalez ran a 16:09.02 to finish in third place in the 5K at the Loyola Invitational in New Orleans, LA.  His time was good enough for tops in the conference, and he helped the Choctaw team to a second-place finish.  Gonzalez was also named American Southwest Conference Cross Country Male Runner of the Week for his efforts.

Gonzalez and the Choctaws' next meet will be the LSU Invitational September 24th in Baton Rouge, LA.
