Carrera (Rio Cuarto, Cordoba, Argentina) helped the Lady Choctaws pick up four victories over the course of last week and improve to 6-0 on the season, including a 9-0 win over Alcorn State on Feb. 20, a 9-0 win over Ouachita Baptist on Feb. 22, an 8-1 win over Angelo State on Feb. 23, and a 9-0 win over Henderson State on Feb. 24.

Carrera, posted an unblemished 4-0 record in singles play, and flawless 3-0 mark in doubles action. The senior picked up a pair of straight set wins in the doubles number three flight against Alcorn State and Angelo State, and another pair of straight set wins in the doubles number two flight versus Ouachita Baptist and Henderson State. Carrera’s three doubles wins against Alcorn, Angelo State and Henderson State all came in the number three flight.
The women's tennis team will return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 28 when they host West Alabama in GSC action at 2:00 p.m.
