Chris Crosby led the Choctaws to a series-opening win over McKendree on Sunday afternoon. Crosby fanned a season-high and team-best nine batters in eight innings to help guide MC to a 4-2 win over the Bearcats. The Saucier, Miss., native allowed one run on two hits along with a walk to go along with the strikeout total. The junior sits second on the team in strikeouts with 13 on the season and has a team-best 1.26 ERA with a pair of wins.

Mississippi College returns to action on Monday, Feb. 19 as it hosts McKendree in the final game of the series. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m.
