Kelley Allen led Mississippi College with 21 points and 11 rebounds – both team bests in the win over Montevallo on Monday evening. Allen secured her 10th career double-double and fifth of the season in the decision and garnered her second 20-plus point effort of the season. The win snapped a four-game slide by the Lady Choctaws this season and gave head coach Paul Allen Duke his first win over Montevallo in his first meeting.
 
Mississippi College returns to action on Thursday, Jan. 18 as it travels to Rome, Ga., to face Shorter University. Tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m. central.
