Junior Leito Holloway has been named the Mississippi College Wright & Ferguson Male Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday (December 19).

Holloway earned his first two starts of the season and averaged 19.0 points over two road games. In the overtime win over Auburn Montgomery, he scored 20, including hitting all four free throws to ice the game in the final 30 seconds.

On the week, Holloway shot 45% (13-of-29) from the field and 8-of-8 from the free throw line, while pulling down 14 total rebounds. He tallied a double-double with 18 points and 10 boards in Saturday's loss at West Georgia.

Holloway and the Choctaws will be off until December 30th when they host Southern Arkansas for a non-conference game at 4:00 p.m. in A.E. Wood Coliseum.
