Freshman Meredith Johnson of the women's cross country team led the Lady Choctaws with a third-place finish and a time of 16:08.01 in the MC Season Opener at Choctaw Trails.

Johnson and the Lady Choctaws will travel to New Orleans, LA, for the Loyola Invitational on September 10th.  The meet is scheduled for 8:00 a.m.
