Senior Stacey Mack has been named the Mississippi College Wright & Ferguson Male Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Monday (November 20).
The McComb, Miss. native led the Choctaws to their first win of the season last Tuesday, a 77-60 victory at Southern-New Orleans. Mack tied a career-high with 23 points, including scoring the team's first 13 points.
He would shoot 9-of-12 from the floor in the win, including going 2-of-3 from the three-point line. Mack led the Choctaws with eight rebounds and two blocked shots on the night.
Mack also led the Choctaws to a come-from-behind exhibition win over William Carey on Saturday, scoring 22 points. The Choctaws outscored the Crusaders 16-2 over the final 6:27 to get the 80-77 victory.
Mack and the Choctaws play host to SUNOÂ on Monday night (November 20) at 7:00 p.m. in A.E. Wood Coliseum.
