PUEBLO, Colo. – The athletic talents of Mississippi College Track and Field are ready to be showcased as the first day of the 2023 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships officially gets underway in Pueblo, Colorado
Niklas Klei will lead the charge for the Choctaws, hitting the track at 5:55 PM M.T. for the first round in the Men's 400-meter dash. Klei's focus is firmly set on reaching the final round in the event and further advancing Mississippi College's points standing.
Close on Klei's heels, Kevin Turner is set to take his place on the starting line in the prelims of the Men's 100-meter dash at 6:25 PM M.T. Turner is eager to mirror Klei's endeavor and secure his place in the final round.
As the evening progresses, fans can look forward to witnessing long-distance specialist Jan Lukas Becker in the Men's 10,000-meter run at 8:50 PM M.T. Becker has had an exceptional year, a season that includes five GSC titles and three NCAA Division II All-American finishes, and positions himself to strive for an additional triumph tonight.
