CLINTON, MS - Mississippi College senior outfielder Bo Bell has been named a Third Team All-American by D3baseball.com.  Bell earned a second straight selection onto the team after being named a First Team All-American in 2009.

CLINTON, MS - Mississippi College placed 39 student-athletes on the American Southwest Conference Spring 2010 All-Academic Honor Roll.  352 student-athletes from around the conference earned the honr i the sports of baseball, golf, softball, tennis, and track and field it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday.  To be eligible, students must have lettered in the spring 2010 season, be in at least the second academic year at their institution, and carry a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better.

MCMINNVILLE, OR - Senior Bo Bell sent the Choctaws to the Championship Game of the Division III West Region with an RBI single that scored senior Chase Herrin and give the Choctaws a 6-5 victory over PPomona-Pitzer.  MC will now play host school Linfield College at 5:50 p.m. CST for the championship and a and a trip to the Division III College World Series.

MCMINNVILLE, OR - The NCAA West Regional baseball game between Mississippi College and Texas-Tyler has been pushed back to a 6:20 p.m. CST start due to rainy conditions.  Due to the inclement conditions, the games are subject to schedule changes.  Check back with gochoctaws.com for any updates.  All MC games are still scheduled to be on ChoctawVision with the first broadcast slated for a 6:05 p.m. CST start.
