Green, the 1999 American Southwest Conference Defensive Player of the Year led the conference in three-point field goal percentage, draining the net a whopping 49 percent of the time from behind the arc. After graduating from MC, Green found her future in pediatric dentistry. She completed dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and her residency at the University of Florida. She has been in private practice in Flowood for the last 17 years. A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and past president of the Mississippi Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Green serves as a trustee for the Mississippi Dental Association and was recently inducted into the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy.
