CLINTON, MS - The Mississippi College volleyball team opened the 2010 season with a 3-1 loss to Millsaps on Wednesday night in A.E. Wood Coliseum. The Lady Choctaws (0-1) rallied to win the third set, 25-23, before falling to the Majors (1-0) in four sets.

Millsaps opened strong by winning the first two sets, 25-19. The Lady Choctaws bounced back to win the fourth set after falling behind 21-17 and facing a defeat. MC would score eight of the final 10 points to pick up their first win in a set against the Majors since 2008.

The Lady Choctaws will travel to Birmingham-Southern this weekend for a tournament. They open with a match against the host Panthers on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
