Women's Soccer Reports for First Day of 2010 Season

CLINTON, MS - The Lady Choctaw soccer team reported for the first day of the 2010 season. A total of 33 girls reported for practice Wednesday morning in a day that brought cooler weather conditions.

Head Coach Darryl Longbaugh was pleased overall with the first day of practice. "I'm very pleased with the physical condition our players are in, and I thought they really got after it and pushed themselves today." Longbaugh expressed one of his goals for this first week of practice is for the girls to really get a feel for each other.

The Lady Choctaws will continue their preseason practice until the Alumni Game on Aug. 28th. The first home game will be on Sept. 12th against Millsaps College.
