Stuart Magee earned All-West Region selections by the American Baseball Coaches Association announced last week. Seaman earned First Team honors, while Bell and Magee were named to the Second Team.
Seaman finished the season 10-1 with a 3.19 ERA in a team-record 16 starts in 2010. The Pascagoula, MS native struck out 85 hitters in 101.2 innings pitched. Tyler was also named the American Southwest Conference East Division Pitcher of the Year.
Bell finished the season with a .418 batting average, 19 doubles, 11 home runs, and 58 runs batted in. The Gulfport native ended his two-year career with a .421 batting average, which is the highest in school history. Bell was also named ASC East Hitter of the Year.
Magee hit .401 with 13 doubles, seven home runs, and 42 RBI, while stealing 11 bases. Over the final 27 games of the season, the Columbia native hit .470 with 10 doubles, seven home runs, and 32 RBI, all totals that led the team over that stretch. Magee was named First Team All-ASC this season.
