2010 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III All-Region Teams
CLINTON, MS - Mississippi College junior infielder Jennifer Jones was named to the Second Team Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III All-Atlantic Region Team. Jones led the Lady Choctaws to their second-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Jones led the team with a .417 batting average and earned Second Team All-ASC honors. The Pass Christian native recorded eight doubles, one triple, and 27 runs batted in. Her 25 stolen bases in 2010 set a new single-season record and earned her the career record for swipes with 54 in three years.

Smitherman Named Easton Fastpitch All-American

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - The 2011 Easton All-American teams were announced on June 7th and freshman Brooke Smitherman earned a spot on the team. Athletes selected to the Easton All-American teams are those who have had an outstanding season, and who have been stalwarts for their team. Due to the number of deserving candidates who were considered for this award, Easton Sports, Inc. has named "NCAA Division I All-Americans," and "NAIA, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division III All-Americans."
