MC Releases 2010 Volleyball Schedule

2010 Volleyball Schedule
CLINTON, MS - Mississippi College Head Coach Peter Cosmiano has released the 2010 volleyball schedule which opens with a home match against cross-town rival Millsaps on September 1st at 6:00 p.m. The Lady Choctaws are coming off of their first-ever appearance in the ASC Tournament after finishing 13-14 and in third place in the East Division.

After the season opener against the Majors, MC will travel to the Birmingham-Southern Invitational and then the Berry College Invitational. The Lady Choctaws will open conference play on the road against LeTourneau on September 16th before playing Texas-Tyler on September 17th.

MC opens home conference play against Mary Hardin-Baylor at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24th. The Lady Choctaws will host one of the two ASC Crossovers on October 1st and 2nd. Six teams will travel to the Golden Dome as the East Division will play the West Division.

The 2010 ASC Tournament is scheduled for November 6th-7th and it will be located East Division No. 1 seed home site.
