Choctaws to Resume Game Against Texas Lutheran Tomorrow

SEGUIN, TX - Due to darkness, the Mississippi College game against Texas Lutheran University was suspended Saturday and will be completed Sunday morning. The Choctaws (35-8) and Bulldogs (32-12) were tied at 8-8 after nine complete innings, but playing conditions became too dark to continue with no lights available. The game will resume in the morning at 11:00 a.m.

The Choctaws dropped into the losers bracket after a loss earlier in the day to the University of Texas at Tyler (34-10) by a 13-2 score.

The winner of the Mississippi College vs Texas Lutheran contest will need to beat Texas Tyler twice later in the day to claim the ASC Championship.
