CLINTON, MS - Mississippi College placed 39 student-athletes on the American Southwest Conference Spring 2010 All-Academic Honor Roll.  352 student-athletes from around the conference earned the honr i the sports of baseball, golf, softball, tennis, and track and field it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday.  To be eligible, students must have lettered in the spring 2010 season, be in at least the second academic year at their institution, and carry a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better.

The baseball team placed 15 student-athletes on the team, with women's track and field finishing just behind with eight.  Women's tennis earned six spots, softball earned four spots, and men's tennis and track and field each received three honors.

CLINTON, MS - The Mississippi College basketball teams will wrap the "Make a Change in 14 Days" campaign with a "Play it Pink" doubleheader on Saturday afternoon against the University of Texas at Tyler.  The Lady Choctaws will face Texas-Tyler at 1:00 p.m. with the men to play in the "Golden Dome" at 3:00 p.m.  Donations will be accepted to support the fight against breast cancer and fans are encouraged to wear pink to the two games.
