Tyler Seaman Named ASC East Pitcher of the Week

ASC Baseball Players of the Week
CLINTON, MS - Mississippi College senior right-hander Tyler Seaman has been named American Southwest Conference East Division Pitcher of the Week for the games of February 2-7. The Pascagoula native earned the same honor twice last season for the Choctaws.

In the season opener for the Choctaws on Saturday against Huntingdon College, Seaman picked up the victory with 6.0 strong innings and only two runs allowed. Both scores came in the first inning as the Jones County Junior College transfer struck out six and only gave up six hits.

Seaman and the Choctaws will be in town on Wednesday afternoon as they face Belhaven University at 4:00 p.m. at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson.
