2009 National College Football Attendance
CLINTON, MS - Mississippi College finished fourth nationally in football attendance in Division III with an average home attendance of 4,695 per game.  The Choctaws led the American Southwest Conference, which finished second nationally among Division III schools.

MC had a season-high attendance of 6,158 at the homecoming game against Howard Payne on October 31st.  The Choctaws finished the year with a record of 9-3 and advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament before being beaten by Wesley College.

CLINTON, MS - The Mississippi College Choctaws had six different student-athletes named to the American Southwest Conference Fall 2011 Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Team, it was announced by the league office on Thursday (Jan. 26).

CLINTON, MS - Numerous student athletes from 16 universities and colleges have been recognized by the American Southwest Conference on its 2011 Fall All-Academic honor roll.  The teams were announced by the ASC office on Thursday (Jan. 19) and include the sports of cross country, football, soccer, and volleyball.

CLINTON, MS - Mississippi College senior defensive back Jarrad Craine was one of 10 finalists for the C Spire Wireless Conerly Trophy, which recognizes the to football player in the state of Mississippi.  The Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame recognized the finalists and named a winner on Tuesday, November 29th.
